Optimyse

Building software is about the people doing the work as much as the technology. At Optimyse, formerly Mikaels Labs, I’ve worked on both sides of that equation.

I started as Partner & CTO in 2018, building technical teams and helping developers in Pakistan grow their skills in AI while working with companies internationally. In 2020, I moved into the CEO role.

The focus is still bringing business and technology together so teams can move forward. Our work with TalentAdore is one example of how that relationship can grow over years.

Grantful

Grant-making involves a lot of work between opening applications and seeing the results. Grantful brings applications, evaluations, committee work, and reporting into one platform.

I’ve been part of the company as a founding board member since February 2021.

CTO · Telluride Venture Accelerator · 2017

RightClick.io

My work in AI goes back to before the current wave of generative AI. At RightClick.io, we worked on using AI to personalize people’s experience on the web, with the aim of improving engagement and conversions.

In 2017, I took part in the Telluride Venture Accelerator with RightClick.io. That meant four months in Telluride, Colorado, working on the business through a programme led by Marc and Ashley Nager.

It’s also where I met Harry Kanistik. We were in the same cohort, and later became co-founders at Mikaels Labs. Sometimes the people you meet while building one company become part of the next one.

Aplós Innovations

At Aplós Innovations, I led the company and its technical work, building websites and mobile applications for clients.

My work ranged from day-to-day operations to application design and development. Helping the team grow, enjoy the work, and simplify technology for our clients was a big part of it.
